Funda Ustek and Francisca Grommé present two papers at the Interpretive Policy Analysis 11th International Conference in Hull

Funda Ustek and Francisca Grommé presented on July 5th in the panel ‘What counts as evidence? Quantification in policy practices’. This panel was organised by Francisca and Thomas Franssen (CWTS, Leiden University).

Funda talked about the problem of qualifying the unknown in her presentation ‘ “Give me a guesstimate, how many refugees are there?” The politics of counting refugees in turkey and the EU’.

Francisca spoke about entrepreneurial innovation regimes in official statistics in her presentation ‘The qualities of imperfection: Experimental practices in official statistics’.
